Community of Healing

A community conversation series where we gather to discuss mental health, better understand what our communities need, and create intentional space for connection, reflection, and collective wellbeing. This series will continue throughout the year as a place to uplift voices and strengthen relationships across our communities.

This work is being done in partnership with Centro Latino of New Hampshire, NAACP New Hampshire, and Victory Women of Vision.

BIPOC Leaders and Collective Knowledge: A Community Conversation About Housing Needs in New Hampshire

The New Hampshire Youth Success Project has been collaborating with Black Lives Matter New Hampshire to create a platform for BIPOC young adults to discuss housing-related challenges impacting their communities.

In the granite state, we recognize that housing costs continue to place unnecessary burdens on individuals and families. Their goal is to create a secure and supportive space where young adults can share lived experiences, exchange information, discuss solutions, and build community together.

Youth and Family Gatherings

In April, we were able to host a meaningful workshop designed for high school youth and their parents to openly discuss laws, consequences, and real-life challenges young people are facing today. Families gain essential knowledge, engage in honest conversations, and strengthen their connections to one another and to the broader community.

And in one of our favorite moments this season — we even hosted a small cultural wedding in the space, reminding us that community spaces are not only for organizing, but also for celebration, joy, culture, and love.
