Dear Beloved Community,
Spring has arrived here in New England and at MCAC too. This season marks an exciting new chapter for us as we are living in our longtime goal: creating a physical space where we can gather, organize, heal, learn, and simply be in community with one another. The space has been buzzing with energy since we have opened the doors. We are excited to welcome fresh energy, new ideas, and community members into our home, the MCAC Hub.

As MCAC continues strengthening its roots and evolving, you may begin to notice changes throughout our organization — from updates to our website, processes to the new space, and new faces joining our work. As we continue expanding our community root system, it’s important to reflect on where we have been, where we are in the present, and where we are growing together.
Part of the work we are doing is learning how to be in relationship with one another. That means learning to be in relationship with each other across different lived experiences, generations, cultures, and perspectives. In a time where so many spaces can feel transactional or performative, we believe deeply in creating spaces where people do not have to shrink themselves, mask who they are, or perform belonging in order to be accepted.
